POCT governance software helps a testing service organise its governance evidence and oversight. POCTIFY builds software covering quality control, competency records, external quality assessment, verification statistics, non-conformances, corrective and preventive actions, audits and dashboards. Its purpose is to support the people responsible for governance across testing sites.
POCTIFY builds and operates software for point of care testing services. Its job is to make the governance evidence exist as the work is done, so that quality control, competency, EQA, verification and the audit trail are never reconstructed the week before an assessment.

Licensed per site. Modules switch on as a service needs them, from a two-device clinic to a multi-site network.
Quality control that keeps itself
Control runs captured as they happen, Westgard multi-rule evaluation, Levey-Jennings charts drawn for you, and operator lockout when a device is out of control. Review records that accreditation expects, without the spreadsheet.
Competency, enforced
Competency recorded per person, per device and per test, with assessor, date and expiry. An operator without an in-date record cannot run a patient test, so the record and the reality stay the same thing.
EQA management
Register devices, distribute material to sites, run within the window, submit, review the report, investigate poor performance and close the action, with the evidence for ISO 15189:2022 clause 7.3.7.3 kept in one place.
Verification and precision workbench
Precision, bias and method comparison, linearity, detection limits, reference-interval checks and sigma metrics to CLSI EP15, EP09, EP06 and EP17, with acceptance criteria set before the data and a signed verification file at the end.
Governance aligned to ISO 15189:2022
Internal audits with checklists, non-conformances raised from QC and EQA automatically, CAPA with owners and due dates, risk register, field safety notices, document control and a management review that fills itself from the year's records.
Oversight across every site
Dashboards and KPIs by site, device and operator: QC pass rate, lockouts, competency in date, EQA returns, expired lots, incidents. One coordinator sees the whole estate from a single screen.

Questions people ask
What does POCTIFY's software do?
It runs the governance of a point of care testing service: quality control with Westgard rules and operator lockout, competency records per person and device, EQA management, a verification and precision workbench to CLSI protocols, non-conformances and CAPA, internal audits, a risk register, inventory by lot and expiry, and dashboards across every site.
Does the software interpret patient results?
No. It is workflow, governance and record-keeping software. It does not interpret clinical results and provides no clinical decision support. Clinical interpretation stays with the responsible clinician and analytical performance stays with the device manufacturer.
Is it aligned to ISO 15189:2022?
Yes. The modules map to the clauses assessors look at: personnel competence (clause 6.2), ensuring the validity of results through internal quality control and EQA (7.3.7), nonconformities and corrective action (8.7), evaluations including internal audit (8.8) and management review (8.9), with Annex A applying them to point of care testing.
How is the platform licensed?
Per site, as a subscription, with modules switched on as a service needs them. A two-device clinic can start with quality control and competency; a multi-site network can run the full governance system. There are no per-test fees.
Can a small clinic or a single GP practice use it?
Yes. The platform is proportionate by design: a small service switches on quality control, competency and the document set it needs, and nothing else. A demo on your own devices is the fastest way to see whether it fits.
What is POCT competency management?
POCT competency management records whether a person has demonstrated the skills needed for a particular test on a particular device. The platform keeps records per person, per device and per test, with the assessor, the assessment date and the expiry, and can lock a device for operators whose competency has lapsed. Coordinators see at a glance which assessments are due.
How does POCTIFY support POCT EQA?
External quality assessment gives an independent check on testing performance. The platform registers the devices enrolled in a scheme, distributes material to sites, tracks the return window and the submission, holds the report, and opens an investigation when a result is flagged, so that the actions and the evidence sit together until the investigation is closed.
Does POCT software provide ISO 15189 accreditation?
No. Software does not award accreditation. The platform keeps the records an assessor asks for in a form that maps to the ISO 15189:2022 clauses, but a service still has to show how it meets the requirements in practice. In the UK, UKAS assesses organisations seeking accreditation for their defined testing activities.
What verification statistics does POCTIFY cover?
The verification workbench covers precision, bias and method comparison, linearity, detection limits and sigma metrics, following CLSI protocols. Acceptance criteria are set before the data are analysed, and the output is the verification file an assessor reads. The right study depends on the method and on the intended use of the testing service.
